The crescent moon marking the beginning of Ramadan 1447 AH has been officially sighted in Saudi Arabia, signaling the commencement of the Islamic holy month.
The announcement was made via Haramain Sharifain’s official X platform, confirming that Wednesday, February 18 2026 will be observed as the first day of fasting.
