Nigerian international Ademola Lookman is on the verge of completing a sensational move to Atlético Madrid after the Spanish giants reached a full agreement with Atalanta for a €40 million transfer.
The deal includes a €35 million fixed fee plus €5 million in add-ons, following Lookman’s decision late last night to choose Atlético Madrid over Turkish side Fenerbahçe. A long-term contract has already been agreed with the forward.
Atlético Madrid are now making arrangements for Lookman’s travel and medical ahead of the official unveiling, with the Super Eagles star set to continue his career in La Liga.
