The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has forecast thunderstorms and moderate rainfall across several parts of Northern and Central Nigeria, warning residents to prepare for changing weather conditions.
According to the agency’s latest weather outlook, a number of areas are expected to experience rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, which could affect normal activities and movement in some locations.
NiMet’s forecast highlights the possibility of unstable weather conditions across the affected regions, with residents advised to remain alert, particularly during periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
The agency also urged members of the public to pay attention to official weather updates and take necessary precautions to minimise risks associated with thunderstorms and rainfall.
