The Director-General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s campaign organisation, Abdul’aziz Yari, has held meetings with prominent Islamic leaders in Jos and Bauchi as part of ongoing political consultations.
Yari met with Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir in Jos, Plateau State, and Khalifa Sheikh Ibrahim, son of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, in Bauchi State.
In a statement posted on X, Yari said the discussions focused on promoting peace, strengthening national unity and advancing Nigeria’s development.
He said the engagements also provided an opportunity to connect with influential religious leaders and their communities in support of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
